3 Tips to Grow Your Business this Halloween

Just like Christmas, All Hallows Eve has something to offer your business if you want to grow your business! You don’t have to be an eCommerce store or online subscription service to take advantage of these SPOOKY ideas!

Frightening Tip #1: Drive traffic to your website by “decorating”

Yes! You can decorate your website just like you decorate your house! By frequently updating your Home page to something relevant, you can

drive traffic from your customers who want to see it. A great example of a website that does this really well is Nickelodeon.

It can be as simple as changing the landing page photo to a collage of your products in front of a pumpkin patch or adding cobwebs to the corner of the screen that follows people when they scroll. Consistently changing your website and always creating new content also helps with your search engine optimization, because algorithms like frequently updated websites more than websites that have stayed the same since 2014.

Haunting Tip #2: Show you Halloween spirit on social media

Content, content, CONTENT!!!

Post pictures, videos, or even a funny joke about Halloween and people will check out your profiles more. When you have more people following your Instagram page because your business posts relevant content, they are more likely to schedule a doctor’s appointment with you or shop at your store. Its all about attention. When information and resources became so globally accessible via the internet, there was a major shift in the most valuable resource for businesses. Now, its your customer’s attention. They are being shown the most targeted ads in history, watching the funniest cat videos they have ever seen, and you need to compete with that content.

​Martha Stewart and SkidooOutlet.com are perfect examples of businesses putting out content that captures the Halloween spirit and still accomplishes their business goals.

Too much work?? I still have a solution for you! Does your business give out trick or treats or have a dress-up party or even allow costumes to work on Halloween? Consider doing a Livestream on either Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube.

Spooktacular Tip #3: Offer a Halloween discount

Do I really have to explain why this is a MAJOR builder of business?? Know your numbers, know your margins, know your profit, and you know what you can offer to your customers to get them in the door.

I highly recommend having an online platform where your customers can redeem coupon codes and promos. Even if you require a physical customer visit like some of our medical practice clients, you can do online billing and online appointment scheduling where you can implement this idea.
